A dystopian science fiction
SEQUENTIAL IMAGE NARRATIVE
40-page comic book
"In a future London awash with high interest debt and experimental drugs, 19 year old employment circuit worker Johnny Lech is forced to shoulder the debt of his brother's suicide.
Across town it's decision time for Una Debitt as her window of opportunity for a life of independence is closing fast."
Taking visual cues from the dystopian visions of the darkly comedic Brazil, the romance of Bladerunner, the surreal eraser-head counterpart Tetsuo: Iron Man, the selective eye of Alphaville, or the work of authors such as JG Ballard. As well as such graphic artists as Jack Kirby, Daniel Clowes and Moebius: Pilot paints a stark and surealistic picture of a London past the point. Seen through the eyes of science fiction past, following the story of two young people's quest for meaning in the face of a cancelled future.
A limited run of the 40 page newsprint first volume will be on sale at the event, arrive early to avoid dissapointment.
